RESEÑA: Half the Sky -La mitad del cielo en español- es un libro sobre cómo diferentes mujeres alrededor del mundo 🌍 luchan contra la pobreza y el sexismo en un mundo que las marginaliza.

Son testimonios muy inspiradores que nos abren los ojos frente a realidades que no todo el mundo conoce y que nos hace empatizar con el papel de la mujer 👭 en los países más subdesarrollados, cosa que me ha gustado muchísimo. A pesar de eso, también he de admitir que es un libro muy extenso, que menciona a una cantidad inmensa de organizaciones, personas y políticos y es fácil de hacerse un libro muy pesado y exahustante. Además de que el ejemplar que yo poseo, prestado por mi tía, está integramente en inglés y no cualquiera podría llegar a leerlo y entenderlo por la complejidad de sus textos y el lenguaje en sí.

Aún así creo que es un libro que merece la pena leer por lo menos una vez ☝🏻 en la vida y animaria a cualquier persona que esté interesada en el que le de una oportunidad porque la merece.

Cito dos de las frases que más me han gustado de este libro 📖 y que creo que lo resumen bastante bien:
